OPPO is a smartphone brand that holds the performance of its devices as the standout factor. The challenge the brand issued to us was to form a group of content creators who would produce and share digital memories captured through OPPO smartphones.
Our answer to this challenge was to prepare a unique outreach event, enabling the invited content creators to generate photo content and explore the features of each cell phone. This led to the OPPO ROAD BOOK, which evolved from the traditional Road Book concept, a book of coordinates and map references, which tracks all the places visited and yet to be discovered.
Much more than just an event, we wanted this experience to result in a lasting connection between the brand and content creators. In a community, in a movement with a lifestyle filled with discoveries, friendships, and memories, forever immortalized through the features of these devices.
Aveiro, a jovial city, with lots of colors and cultural diversity, and neighboring towns were the chosen destinations. The schedule of activities included things like workshops, bonding, tours, and time to explore. The adventures of the participants were posted on various social media channels, with the suggested hashtags. In short, the OPPO ROAD BOOK is now an opportunity for users of the brand’s cell phones to set off on a journey of discovery and create the memories of a lifetime.
